Terms of Service
Welcome to Firesyde. By accessing and using our website, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service (the “Terms”). Please read these Terms carefully before using our Site.
Booking Confirmation
- A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your stay.
- The remaining balance will be automatically charged 15 days before check-in.
- Your booking is confirmed once we receive your deposit, and you will receive a confirmation email.
- For larger bookings, a higher deposit may be requested.
Pricing
- All rates are provided in British Pounds (GBP) and include taxes unless otherwise stated.
- Prices are subject to availability and may change before your booking is confirmed.
Payment Methods
- We accept all major credit cards besides Amex at this time.
- For bookings made within 15 days of your stay, full payment is required upfront.
Changes and Cancellations
- Firesyde reserves the right to amend a booking where its nature or purpose changes (e.g. from a private stay to a group, retreat, or event).
- This includes increases in guest numbers, visitors, suppliers, or structured activities. In such cases, Firesyde may: reclassify the booking, adjust pricing or apply minimum spends, require additional terms or agreements, amend accommodation or space allocations
- Firesyde reserves the right to cancel bookings where required for operational or commercial reasons, including conflicts with larger bookings or exclusive hire. In such cases, guests may be offered alternative dates, credit, or a refund at Firesyde’s discretion.
- Firesyde reserves the right to reallocate accommodation, event spaces, and site layouts where reasonably required for operational, logistical, or commercial reasons. This may include moving guests between lodges, rooms, or accommodation types, adjusting the use of indoor or outdoor spaces, and reconfiguring layouts for dining, meetings, or activities such as in the instance of event or group bookings.
Guest Responsibilities
- Firesyde is a peaceful retreat, and we kindly ask guests to respect the tranquility and comfort of others.
- Guests are expected to treat the property with care.
- If any damage occurs during your stay, we will work with you to resolve the matter fairly.
Check-in & Check-out Policy
- Check-in: from 3:00 PM.
- Check-out: by 11:00 AM.
- Late check-outs may be available upon request, subject to availability and additional charges.
Extra Guests Policy
- No additional guests are allowed unless requested and approved at Firesyde’s discretion.
- If approved, a maximum of 2 extra guests per lodge is permitted.
Quiet Hours & Noise Policy
- Quiet hours are strictly enforced from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
- No music at any time anywhere on-site.
- No parties or excessive noise to respect the peace of all guests.
Smoking Policy
- Firesyde is a smoke-free environment inside all lodges.
- Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas.
- A cleaning fee will be charged for any violations of this policy.
Fire Safety Policy
- Never leave a fire unattended.
- Never go to bed with a lit fire.
- Do not put more than three logs on your fire at a time.
- Familiarise yourself with the locations of fire safety equipment upon arrival
- It is your responsibility to follow the fire rules to ensure your own safety, if you do not feel confident doing this, do not light a fire
Force Majeure Clause
- Firesyde is not responsible for cancellations or service disruptions due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, pandemics, government restrictions, or power outages.
- In the event of a force majeure event, guests may be offered the option to reschedule, receive a voucher, or a partial refund, depending on circumstances.
Complaints & Dispute Resolution
- If you have a complaint during your stay, please notify us immediately at enquiries@firesyde.co.uk, and we will do our best to resolve it.
- If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be handled in accordance with UK law, and both parties agree to attempt mediation before legal action.
Lost Property Policy
- Firesyde is not responsible for lost or forgotten belongings.
- We will do our best to locate and store lost items. Guests are required to cover them shipping costs for larger items
- Items found will be stored for 30 days
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Country or State], without regard to its conflict of law principles.
