Sustainability

What makes Firesyde sustainable?

Firesyde is built on the principles of regenerative hospitality - light on the land, rich in experience. Our Wild Lodges are built in large part from sustainably sourced or reclaimed materials. Each lodge is oriented for optimal natural light and passive heating, reducing the need for artificial energy. High-performance glazing and insulation help minimise heat loss. Additionally, appliances are energy-efficient and no fossil fuel sources are used.

Land Stewardship

The surrounding grounds are managed as a living habitat - with native planting, wildflower meadows, and pollinator corridors and biodiversity units.

Eco-friendly Products & Waste

All cleaning products used are eco-friendly and all waste is recycled off-site.
