"Firesyde was the perfect setting for our company retreat at Digital Land Solutions. Nestled just a 20-minute drive from Guildford, its serene, nature-rich environment felt worlds away from the typical corporate world, fostering a sense of peace and connection. The stunning surroundings, lush gardens and tranquil walking paths created an ideal backdrop for open, honest conversations, strategic planning, and joyful team bonding. Firesyde’s unique blend of natural beauty and thoughtful design inspired us to think deeply and collaborate meaningfully, making it an unforgettable experience"

Tim Hopkins, CEO, Digital Land Solutions

"Firesyde gave us the perfect setting to pause, reflect and reconnect as a team. The barn created just the right blend of calm and focus, surrounded by nature but with all the comfort we needed"

Joe Huddard, PHD, Nature Metrics

"Firesyde was both peaceful and quiet and extremely well equipped for productive strategy sessions. The lunch provided by the Firesyde team was excellent. The breakout spaces were perfect, and the barn itself is great for creative thinking and has all the amenities needed for a productive day."

Ed, CEO, EH Investments

Sustainability

What makes Firesyde sustainable?

Firesyde is built on the principles of regenerative hospitality - light on the land, rich in experience. Our Wild Lodges are built in large part from sustainably sourced or reclaimed materials. Each lodge is oriented for optimal natural light and passive heating, reducing the need for artificial energy. High-performance glazing and insulation help minimise heat loss. Additionally, appliances are energy-efficient and no fossil fuel sources are used.

Land Stewardship

The surrounding grounds are managed as a living habitat - with native planting, wildflower meadows, and pollinator corridors and Biodiversity Net Gain units.

Eco-friendly Products & Waste

All cleaning products used are eco-friendly and all waste is recycled off-site.

Your Role

We invite guests to tread lightly - switch off lights, recycle, and burn only the wood provided. Every small act helps preserve the valley.
