What are the payment options and terms?

We accept all major credit cards. To secure your stay, a 20% deposit is required at the time of booking. The balance will be automatically charged 15 days before your check-in. Your booking is confirmed once we receive your deposit, and you'll receive a confirmation email. For bookings made within 15 days of your stay, full payment is required upfront.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that sometimes plans can change, and we're here to help you navigate any adjustments with as little hassle as possible. If you need to cancel or make changes to your booking at least 30 days before your check-in date, you can choose to reschedule, receive a gift voucher for the full amount, or take a full refund.

For changes made 15-30 days before arrival, including any rescheduling requests, there’s a cancellation fee of 20% of the total booking amount.

For changes within the 15 days before your check-in date, we’re unable to offer refunds, vouchers, or rebooking options—partial or otherwise. However, we’d love to help you make the most of your stay by exploring alternative options where possible.

Firesyde is primarily a couples escape but we warmly welcome infants still being carried by their parents.

We offer a stunning range of locally sourced, nature and campfire inspired meals as part of the Firesyde Campfire Menu. Order as extras at checkout and these will be pre-prepared and waiting for your Wild Lodge upon arrival. You are welcome to bring your own food and store in your under counter fridge. All BBQ and kitchen items are provided.

We recommend bringing your favourite bottle of wine of other drink options that you like.

What do I need to bring with me for my stay? Are there any essentials or recommended items?

Bring comfortable outdoor clothing, personal toiletries, and any favorite drinks and snacks. We provide all other essentials, such as cookware, drink-ware, utensils, firewood, towels etc.

Each Wild Lodge comfortably accommodates up to 2 people.

Guests can arrive by car, there is a private car park on site. The nearest train station is Godalming which has regular trains from Clapham Junction and Waterloo as well as a Taxi rank outside. Taxis such as Uber, from London are also a good option.

Many aspects of our Wild Lodges were built in from sustainably sourced or reclaimed materials. Each lodge is oriented for optimal natural light and passive heating, reducing the need for artificial energy. High-performance glazing and insulation help minimise heat loss. Additionally, appliances are energy-efficient. Taken together these properties ensure a low environmental footprint.

I’ve never been camping before; will I like it? What should I expect?

Firesyde has designed a new take on the camping experience, elevating it for those who don't typically camp but still want to experience the joys of it. Our Wild Lodges are designed for high-end comfort while still preserving the connection to nature that makes the camping experience so special.

We’re working on making Firesyde pet-friendly, but currently, pets are not allowed.

Firesyde is primarily a couples escape but we are aware that many guests want to get away with a young one, so we are working on adding facilities in each Wild Lodge to accommodate children. For now it's not possible but it should be very soon!

We offer a stunning range of cooking-free and BBQ meal options, so you can relax and enjoy without worrying about meal prep. You can select these options in the extras section as you are booking. You are welcoming to bring your own food and beverage options. There is an under-counter fridge as well as BBQ cooking facilities and a single hob for you to use.
